Transcriptional regulator that acts as repressor or activator, depending on the context (PubMed:8887638, PubMed:19170764). Binds to NF-E2 DNA binding sites (PubMed:8887638, PubMed:19170764). Plays important roles in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK (PubMed:8887638).
