HNF1B-ESRRG

Information HNF1B-ESRRG

Description

Protein fusion of HNF1B and ESSRG. Hnf1b (Hepatocyte nuclear factor 1-beta) is a transcription factor, probably binds to the inverted palindrome 5'-GTTAATNATTAAC-3'. Esrrg (Estrogen-related receptor gamma) is an orphan receptor that acts as transcription activator in the absence of bound ligand. Binds specifically to an estrogen response element and activates reporter genes controlled by estrogen response elements. Induces the expression of PERM1 in the skeletal muscle. (Source UniProtKB)
