HTA9
Information HTA9
- Description
Encodes HTA9, a histone H2A protein. Loss of all H2A.Z (triple mutant with HTA8 and HTA11) results in a reduction in DNA methylation of transposons but not that of genes. Loss of H2A.Z causes misregulation of many genes involved in the response to developmental and environmental cues, and that these genes tend to have high levels of gene-body H2A.Z.
